Love

"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Romans 5:8

 
  • This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrfice for our sins.

  • Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

  • And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

 

Confidence

"For the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught."

Proverbs 3:26

 
  • “ This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that is we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.”
